David A. Lascelles is a former clinical scientist turned teacher who writes in his (limited) spare time. He lives in Manchester in the UK with his wife and dog and is the author of Gods of the Sea, a short story published as part of the Pirates and Swashbucklers anthology released by Pulp Empires .
